Popular nightclub owner and Instagram celebrity, Pascal Okechukwu popularly called ‘Cubana Chief Priest’ has been arrested by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged money laundering and tax fraud.
He is said to have been arrested at the Lagos airport on Thursday last week.
Cubana Chief Priest was born on 2nd April 1981, in Umuhu Okabia, in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo state, he is the second son of his parents, and he was raised in Umuhu Okabia, in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo state, and later joined his father in Aba, Abia state where he learned how to make shoes, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu never gave up in Shoe business, according to him, he made his first 1million naira from shoemaking during his school days in Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, growing up in the company of his siblings. During his childhood in Aba and Umuhu Okabia, he developed an intense passion for music and desired to be a musician. He has been a serious fan of Nigerian musicians since, admiring stars like Lagbaja, Sound Sultan, and others. Due to his voice and mother tongue intervention, Cubana Chief Priest’s music ambition could not be achieved; but he was not deterred about becoming a force to reckon with in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
Cubana Chief Priest is a Nigerian businessman, whose net worth according to estimates is $17.08 million. He was able to achieve these figures as a result of his successful career as an entrepreneur and show promoting also bagging some notable endorsement with brands like bullet drink.
